Put on your seatbelt folks, if you want high energy, Hardstyle HB, is definitely where you can find it! This music was not designed for you to be able to sit still or multi-task to, so perhaps leave off tuning in until you’re prepared, emotionally and physically.

You’ve really got to have a liking for this genre in order to enjoy it. I know many fans of house, trance, dance, breaks, etc. that cannot stand to listen to high energy or “hard” dance music. That being said, if you’re like me and can find the boogie in pretty much all electronic music, you will be wiggling in your seat, accompanied by a serious head bobbing action within the first ten seconds of tuning in to Hardstyle HB, which is in the electronica genre section of free music on iTunes internet radio. Interestingly enough, as I am listening to the station, they’ve mixed in a snippet from a hip hop song… The lyrics are fairly offensive, so I can’t repeat them here! It’s not often you hear hardstyle with rap lyrics mixed in. That was not the worst of it, the next song talking about drug use. Check out Hardstyle Mafia for a perfect example of this genre’s sonic disturbances.

If you have never heard this type of music before, this station would most likely scare you more than anything else, not only because of the odd offensive lyric, but because the loud and intense sounds coming over the airwaves. If you fancy a listen, please do so with headphones if you’re anywhere in which other people or children are in earshot.
